In his capacity as Optum's Vice President of M&A Integration, he oversaw enterprise initiatives and M&A integration strategy for UnitedHealthcare and Optum, two unique and complementary healthcare firms. Over the course of his seven years in this position, Mr. Grugnale has orchestrated over 100 integrations with an emphasis on quality, risk, time, money, and communication. Dr. Kathryn Garrett, MD/Industry Expert

Kathy Garrett is a physician executive, healthcare consultant and board director who leverages broad-spectrum business expertise to help organizations optimize performance. As CEO of Medical Center Radiology Group (MCRG), a $35M private physician group practice in Orlando, Florida, Kathy held full P&L oversight and stabilized the company’s financial position through successful business transformation initiatives.

She developed a new governance model, spearheaded a profitable joint venture with Orlando Health, Inc., and built a robust compliance program. Along the way, Kathy also held leadership roles with several medical oversight organizations. Since retiring from MCRG in 2020, Kathy founded a consulting company, MKG Consulting Solutions, and currently works as a healthcare consultant, providing strategic insights on hospital/physician practice management, growth strategy, M&A, crisis management, governance as well as diversity, equity and inclusion. Kathy brings 20+ years of experience serving on for-profit and nonprofit boards. Currently, she sits on the boards of Orlando Health, an $8B integrated healthcare system, and Central Florida Medical Society, a branch of the National Medical Association.

She is on the advisory board of Digital Anatomy Simulations for Healthcare (DASH). In 2021, she was appointed to a three-year term as a strategic advisor to the American Hospital Association, which represents 5,000 hospitals and healthcare systems nationwide. Kathy’s past board service includes MCRG, Orlando Health Foundation, Florida Board of Medicine and Quest, Inc.

Raul Reyes, Founding Director

Raul Reyes is a Project Manager and Executive Director for Reyes Engineering Corporation. Reyes Engineering is a family-owned union General Engineering contractor based out of Los Angeles, California. Raul Reyes assisted his father by growing his business from $300,000 in revenue to $25Million in current government construction contracts from 2010 to now.

The growth was accomplished by organic growth constituted by risk, meeting customer schedules and demand, strategic estimating, and calculated risk at every job.
