Gregory Grugnale is a highly motivated and impactful executive with significant experience and achievement in merger and acquisition (M&A) integration, with an accomplished record of influencing diverse stakeholders and serving as ‘the face of the integration.’ He possesses powerful foundational knowledge around integration tools and tactics and a proven ability to communicate strategic recommendations at the executive level. He skillfully lays out visions for combined organizations and thoughtfully develops creative solutions to complex problems to capture optimized efficiency and productivity.
In his current role as Vice President of Integration for Mosaic Health, Gregory is responsible for the successful onboarding, aligning, and harmonizing of newly acquired Care Delivery Organizations (CDOs). Mosaic Health is a national care delivery platform focused on expanding access to comprehensive primary care for consumers with coverage across Commercial, Individual Exchange, Medicare, and Medicaid health plans. Mosaic Health is a portfolio company of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) – a private equity firm in New York, NY.
Prior to joining Mosaic Health, Gregory led the strategic and seamless integration of newly acquired entities across UnitedHealth Group, UnitedHealthcare, and Optum. He championed corporate and business integration processes to ensure smooth, non- disruptive transitions across Human Capital, Legal & Compliance, Technology, Finance & Accounting, and Clinical operations. Gregory served as VP of Integration from 2017-2024.
In early roles, Gregory served as Director of Business Development for AARP Services, where he established development plans and strategies for new growth opportunities. He forged trusting relationships with partner firms, presented AARP Boards with insightful deal recommendations, and collaborated with Finance and Legal teams on deal negotiations and contract development.
Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Babson College and completed the Wharton Executive Education Program at UPenn.
